Respected Sir,
I am a landlord in the best area of vadodara(WEST), and have rented a flat to a tenant who is old since 1970, the rent is very low of rs, 250/ per month plus mun. taxes etc. since last around 10 years is has not given the rent and taxes, and i have not given any notice to him for rent due,
I am interested in rent dues & how I can increase the rent as now a days I can get rent of rs 10,000/ per month (miinimum).
is there any act in Rent Act that the Rent can be increased according to the inflation or due to long period of years as intially it was the rent income for survival of my parents and his family, this is for information.
Also note that the tenant is having a unmarried earning daughter and she is having a flat in the same city and has rented it .
pl guide me if there is any clause where I can get him vacated/ or increase the rent
