Sir/Madam
Iam student by profession and need passport for studing abroad.
my birth place is a village in unnao dist in U.P.
and my name is rajisterd in family rajister too.
but birth certificate was not made at time of birth , which is medatory for passport.
so sir, how can i get the birth certificate.

[A] If you were born before 26-01-1989 then you are required to submit atleast 1 of the documents listed below.
1. Birth certificate issued by a Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Births & Deaths
2. School leaving certificate / Secondary School leaving certificate/ Certificate of Recognized Boards from the school last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution
3. Affidavit sworn before a Magistrate/Notary stating date/place of birth as per the specimen in Annexure 'A' by illiterate or semi-illiterate applicants (Less than 5th class).
[B] If you were born after 26-01-1989 then you are required to submit atleast 1 of the documents listed below.
1. Birth certificate issued by a Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Births & Deaths
Follow Authorities mentioned in requirement as per year of Birth if you say you have no Birth Certificate.

THANK U sir,
i was born on 06/09/1991 and i
have talked to the muncipal corporation authorities.
they are saying me to get birth certificate from "PRADHAAN OF GRAM PANCHAYAT"
MY NAME AND BIRTH IS THERE IN FAMILY RAJISTER.
HOW SHELL I PROCEDE TO GET PARA 6 BIRTH CERTIFICATE THAT IS ASKED BY PASSPORT AUTHORITY.

CAN POLICE OF MY PLACE OF BIRTH, ISSUE THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE ?????

no , police have nothing to do with birth certificate. Your local body/ Sarpanch / may help
