Sir,
I have passed ibps po exam with 175 marks out of 250. The merit for gen category is 135. At the time of submission of form for the written test, IBPS demanded age of 20 years for the post of PO as on 1 jan 2012. Now I have qualified the written test, but now they are demanding age of 21 years on the same date i.e on 1 jan 2012. how can they do this. Although score card is valid for 1 year, yet still they are changing their criterias about interview process. plz tell me, can i file a writ in court against this activity.
plz look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.
thanks
with regards

Yes, this is a good case for Writ of Mandamus.
First send them the demand justice notice and then file the Writ.

if as per the advertisment released in newspapers it was provided that you must be only 20 years old when you appear for IBPS exam then arbitrary change in date at subseqnetnt stage seems to be uncalled for . contact a local lawyer . necessary to see the detailed appers to advise further
