respected all,
I had married to a girl with Vadic Padhatti in Arya samaj mandir on 16-10-12 & they had given me a certificate along with a affidavit of the same too. But my concern is are this documents are good enough as my in laws have good contacts with politician and they can harm us by making any false complaint and i do not want to loose my wife any how. Right now we both have not reveled this to our family that we had performed our marriage, and in present we are not living together, i am working in Vapi( Gujrat), and she is in Mumbai so now i want to take her with me but i scared that because of their contact they can harm us and my family too. please advice how to proceed with this situation. I have read about registering the marriage with Govt. but i don't have any birth date proof only i have is Pan Card Or Aadhar card for the same. plz plz plz advice as the things are getting worse now...

You should have registered your marriage.
Now you have to ger Marriage Registration from Local body, with Witnesses, Marriage Phot & certificate from Arya Samaj (Was it Girgaon, Mumbai??) then Mumbai.

no we both resident of thane ( Nallasopara) and we had performed our marrige in goregaon( mumbai)

So need to get it from Vasai.
Need valid resi proof+ Age & Photo id + witnesses.

should i hire any lawyer or i can do on my own, and what will be a nominal fees as i have crossed one month after my marriage.

Well the certificate issued by Arya Samaj is very much valid proof of marriage and you may not need subsequent registration though you are free to do the same.

Dear D Barman,
In Maharashtra State, Mumbai it is compulsory to Register the Marriage with Local body, i.e. Municipal corporation.
Arya Samaj only issue Marriage Certificate.
On it's basis, parties have to get subsequent Marriage Registration.
