how summons in domestic violence act application to be served for the husband who is residing at foreign country?

obtain husband address and send the summons at the said adress through courier

It is not so simple as advised by both experts. The summons are to be sent by court as DV Act case is a criminal in nature. Court shall send the summon to local police who is turn shall contact the Ministry of Foreign affairs who with the help of Indian embassy and the police of that area, shall get the summons served and report accordingly shall be sent to the concerned court.
