sir i intend to purchased a property on ownership basis in an old building the flat was till 1992 on tenancy basis with a tenant "x" who was paying Rs 200 as rent which was then vide an agreement in 1992 sold/ converted to the same tenant "x" on ownership basis where by he paid Rs 50,000 in 1992 to the landlord for the same the ,the agreement was registered one sided by the owner "x" at the office of the sub registrar vide a decleration of ownership under the amnesty scheme in 1994 . now as we intend to purchase the flat kindly let us know if the same agreement registered vide a decleration considered valid can we go ahead and purchase it.

It shall be good for you to have a detailed search report through a local lawyer who has personally investigate each and every aspect of the ownership with latest position and on the basis of that report, you decide t move ahead.
