Respected Advocates,

I am just passed out law graduate and enrolled myself in state Bar Council, Shall I send my RTI Application drafting it in my Advocate Letterhead…

Thanks in Advance…..
ajay sethi (Expert) 25 January 2013
why you want to make RTI application on your letter head?
Arvind Singh Chauhan (Expert) 25 January 2013
Though it is not wrong or illegal, but seems not good. It is better to mention your full status in the column of applicant.
R.K Nanda (Expert) 25 January 2013
no, do not do it.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 25 January 2013
Why letter head you want to use?
shyam lal sharma (Querist) 26 January 2013
Thanks a lot for yours kind suggestion….

I am fed up by sending a lot of application normally but they won’t reply me yet all or else they give deliberately insufficient answer, I don`t want to punish these irresponsible Govt servant and it take too much of time punish these people, I am in need of information that’s all, that’s why to create some influence on them I asking you learned advoctaes, is it permitted to ask information in my Adv Letter Head

Thanks
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 26 January 2013
If you do not want the officials to get punished then what do you achieve by sending application on letter head. Then keep quite and sit home.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 28 January 2013
I do agree with Sudhir. It is better to bring such officials under the web of law instead of letting them do what ever they desire.
shyam lal sharma (Querist) 28 January 2013
Thanks a lot for every learned and respected lawyer how gave me good suggestions…

Mr Sudhir Kumar, I know how to deal with such officials, I am filing RTI application to get required information’s not to punish the official, please do not tell me to sit in home or anywhere I know where to sit, everyone will sit in home only,,, I just want know where will you sit if u have some doubt? and your reply clearly shows how much your aware of laws and instead of answering query you are suggesting someone to sit in home… you better to be do it for yourself… or stop giving these types of non-sense reply… there are better learned and respected Advocates are there to help me and the people who need of suggestion… these kind of suggestion and reply will stop peoples asking suggestion… Please do keep in your mind that no-body is perfect ok… please mind your language…

shyam lal sharma (Querist) 28 January 2013

Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 28 January 2013
Mr. Shyam Lal! This is not the way you have responded against the reply of Sudhir. You must be having knowledge that the experts on this forum are not paid anything rather all of them perform their volunteer service for mankind. Every expert is free to answer the query as per his own way and how a querist can dictate the experts to provide the reply as per his whims and wishes and even not to reply in a specific way?

Sudhir is a senior expert of this site whose replies are also appreciated by querist as well as experts because there remain a logic in all those replies and the reply given above is also not an exception.

When you have told in the query that you do not want any action against the officials who are not caring towards your applications then what an expert can say to you except what ever has been told to you by Sudhir?

If an official is not paying any heed towards your repeated applications then the only course of action is to initiate legal action against them otherwise to leave the idea to move the applications. Sitting in home denotes leaving the initiation and no other meaning should be derived thereto.

All experts do try to provide best answers and you are also most welcome on this site as and when required.

shyam lal sharma (Querist) 28 January 2013
Sir, with Due respect to your words...
Free means they can tell anything... His answer is discouraging... Thanks a lot for your advice… Yes Sir I do agree with you that Mr Sudhir is a senior expert of this site whose replies are also appreciated by querist as well as experts and he received most Thanks from the common people…. But his answer to my question is very disappointing… When a Junior Advocate, who just passed out of university do not expect these kind of response from the Learned very senior Advocate… Anyway Sir, If my words hurts you,,, I am strongly Apologue you… Because I learn something from you… it means that you are my GURU,,, Thanks a lot Sir…
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 28 January 2013
My dear Mr Shyam Lal Sharma, RTI Act has been enacted with view to extract information from public authorities and this law also has penal provisions (rarely invoked by CIC) for those officials who have courage to play with the provisions.

Such provisions have been made with a view to ensure that persons like you (intending to unearth irregularities). Do get the required information. Guilty persons do not disclose such information voluntarily unless made to do so.

As apparent you asked for "X" information and they give you "Y" information and still you do not want these persons to be punished yet want a solution how you would get information.

This way you are not getting information. So you can understand value of your effort. Why at all you should put any effort unless you are intending not to remove blockade from passage.

If you remember Ramnayana even God Rama himself had to raise AGNIBAN to get passage from roaring ocean.

My answer may be disappointing because you query itself is disappointing. Non can get water from handpump unless it is pumped. Even potters wheel is rotated by inserting a stick in grove and only then beautiful utensils are made.
