Society maintenance charges

I living in society having total 9 flats.Except me all others have 1 bhk ( ~600 sqf).My self having 1220 sqf. Now society menbers are asking more miantenance charges on basis of area covered. pl tell me correct method.

maintenance charges are equal irrepective of area . you have to pay more property tax as your are is more to Muncipal corporation . further water charges will be more as you have more inlets in your flat . other maintenance charges equal

Even if in my flat water oulets are more but consumption is same because members are four only as compared to other.

that is immaterial . society is not concerned with number of members staying in your flat . if you have more water inlets you have to pay more water charges
