How to protect us?

Dear all,

Greeting you,

If in-laws are harassing to Groom side family member, so how can the husband save their family as well as. In which sections a husband (Groom’s family Members) can file the case on in-laws for demanding the money, mental harassment, threat to kill & file the bogus case to suspend from the govt. Job as well as some bogus case also field in police station from in-laws side that was closeed on behalf of statements of my wife. My wife ready to give the complaint against her parent, if she is not ready……..?????

Please reply for both situations with complete procedure.

For mere harassment there is no such case.
However if they are threatening the groom's family then they can file case for extortion or criminal intimidation.

"threat to kill " is an offence for which FIR would be possible.

Thanks for reply but I have one more question can my wife file any case against her parents because I had spoken with a lawyer who had guide me that my wife can file the case in high court because she had filed some bogus cases against me under pressure of her parents which was took back. He had ready an entire statement of my wife in field cases & he know the all situation.

And my wife has been post a complaint at local PS but till date PS has not take any action against the complaint. The complaint made on above mention issues (money demand, mental harassment by bogus complaints at PS, threat to kill & file the bogus case to suspend from the govt. Job)
