sir
after the death of her husband the daughter-in-law (hindu) remarried leaving her two children(4 and 7 years) with her in laws.grand mother is interested in giving the younger child to someone (hindu) for adoption who has recently lost(expired) his only son. They are around 50+ years each. child's relatives (chacha, bua) are not interesed in maintaining them. grand mother was supporting them with her family pension which she is receiving after her husband's death. pl. advice what is the procedure for adoption. whether it is possible to adopt legally.

sir
thanks
the lawyer has suggested to go for settlement/agreement in stamp paper as the legal procedure is lengthy and time consuming. is it ok. should they proceed for adoption via agreement on stamp paper.

Even though legal procedure is lengthy, you are strongly advised to follow it otherwise you can repent on a day for your short cut method which has no legal sanctity.
