IN MY SCHOOL LEAVING CERTY MY SCHOOL NOT WRITE MY CAST AND SUB CASTE, NOW I SELECT FOR GOVT JOB, BUT THIS QUERY IS ARRIES, THE GOVT DEPARTMENT ASK ME FOR AMEND IN THIS CERTY THEN AFTER THRY GIVE ME A JOB POST, IN THIS POSTION WHAT I DO? SCHOOL PRINCIPAL ADVISE ME GO TO HIGH COURT FOR THIS AMEND? IT IS RIGHT OR ANY OTHER LEAGLE REMEDY FOR ME?

You have not specified what was the cast and in which category you are selected.
You have also not specified that on what basis the school has entered your cast.
You have also not specified what benefits you got in school due to this case.
You have also not specified as to which level you studied and hod old is SLC and whether any further study was joined on the basis of same.
You have not specified whether they have asked you in writing to change or simply some over smart clerk is fooling you.
You have left things for imagination.
Be sure that you cannot change cast.
No Govt official can ask you to get an existing certificate falsified.
Govt deptt while giving job cannot ask you to amend SLC. Their role to see the SLC is limited to the aspect as to whether you have the qualification required for the post and whether the date of birth claimed by you is correct.
In case you claim SC/ST benefit the same is not on the basis of SLC it is on the basis of cast certificate issued by SDM/Tehsildar.
In case your cast on cast certificate and SLC are different then deptt is reasonable in presuming the certificate to have been fraudulently obtained. Still they cannot seek amendment of SLC they can simply deny the reservation benefit if any sought.
