Dear Sir,
We are running a Serviced Apartment in Nasik, Maharashtra, but at present we have not taken any Licence. So wants to know what kinds of licence would be required for my business. Whether our building is required to make commercial? We are running business under residential category.
Serviced Apartment is just like Guest House for people on business tour. We provide services like Residence, Food, Car on Rent, Laundry etc. Like any other hotel provides.

you would need permission of local muncipal corporation .

Also you need to obtain shop license from Shop inspector , Nasik

As you are also providing food facilities so you also require a license from local food inspector and health department apart from two licenses already told to you.

And what about registration of business? Is there any authority with whom Serviced Apartment is required to be registered.

First of all tell me whether the furniture and interiors are yours or belongs to some third party.
Are you a lease holder or licencee please clarify.

Your business can be got registered under Shops and Commercial Establishment Act of your State.
