Dear Experts, Please explain what is TDR? What relation does it have with society in redevelopment? Please guide.

It means Transferable Development Rights.. Whenever the Govt acquires land for road widening or for other purposes they issue TDR instead of compensation.. The owner can sell the TDR or any person who holds it can utilise for permission to construct additional floor in any high rise building... It will be better if you contact a local Advoate for further details reagrding your place.
