Querry for divorce

hello all,
i would like to state tat i have been running my divorce case for the last two years on the grounds of contested divorce wherein i have applied for the divorce and my husband is againts it. i am living separetely from my husband for the last 2 years now. i have a son who is presently residing with his father as i am financialy incapable to sustain him although i work

in the next hearing both me and my husband wud be needed to be present before the judge..i dont know how to proceed and how can the case proceed and it can make me grant divorce at the earliest. i have not wanted anythng no property, no allimony or no child rights..pls advice

You should engage a lawyer and raise following grounds:
Wife can argue for a divorce case when she is subjected to any kind of mental and physical injury that causes danger to life and health. The intangible acts of cruelty through mental torture are not judged upon one single act but series of incidents. Certain instances like the food being denied, continuous ill treatment and abuses to acquire dowry, perverse sexual act etc are included under cruelty.

i understand the concern sir..but please be informed that i have gone thru tremendous mental and physical agony for 13 long years..i have been a fool for not lodging a single complaint against him for the abuses made to me..hence iam being made to go thru all this..

he is dragging the case due to the lack of evidence agaisnt him..i have NOTHING against him and that is the greatest tragedy..

i dont know how what to do next..he has been dragging the case by not appearing on dates..i am bankrupt now..i have taken a loan to pay fr my case but that is getting exhausted now..i just dont know what to do..all i get to hear is it will take time..i want to end this by this year..or else i will have no money left to pay for my case..please help

You can contact with the Legal Services Authority in local office or District or High Court for free legal aid.

There are advocates who take cases of needy and charge less fee, find someone if you can. Try to convince your husband for MCD thru some relatives/mediators if you have decided not to return at all.
