Missing a counselling session

Guest (Querist) 04 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hi ,

My spouse has filed a divorce case against me. First counselling session is already over and it doesn't seem to take us anywhere around .I am agreeing for MCD ( no money/property claims from my end as a matter of dignity ). My spouse says he either wants to contest the case or i should go back ( to which i am not ready ). My lawyer says , we can deal with the directly in the court and is suggesting to cancel the second counselling.
I wanted to confirm what are the pros and cons of it.

attend the counselling session . make your stand clear that you are willing for divorce by MCD but on account of spouse adamant attitude no settlement possible

thank you .
Can i contest the saying i don't want to live with him , but i am contesting the case as all the allegations are false ? Or should i say i want to live with him ?

state the truth . since husband has made false allegations you are contesting the case . if he with draws allegations you have no objection for divorce by mutual consent

Well advised, nothing more to add.
