Order reserved

(Querist) 16 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear All

I am the respondent in a A482 Case. A mediation was ordered by the court which failed and the matter was referred back to the court.

The matter was finally heard on April 4, 2013 and the order is yet to be released (being told that the order has been reserved although there is no documentation for the same)

I also understand that the matter is automatically released after 6 months if the order is not released.

What are my options

a) getting the order released
b) what happens to the hearings that have happened in the past if the mater is released. Do they carry any weight ?

Regards

Akash

The court sometimes take time to pass judgment. You can mention the matter to court for passing the order.

Dear Mr Barman,

The matter was mentioned by my counsel but to no avail. Thereafter my counsel refused to mention it any more.

I was left with no alternative and then made a mention personally in front of the Chief Justice last week.

I now await action if any.

My query still remains.

Sometimes, though rarely, but it happens and pinning too much causes irritation to the judge concerned.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your input on the reserved order status. The second part of the query is... what happens to the previous orders if the order is not released in time (six months) and the case is released for rehearing.

Thanks and Regards
