Dear Sirs,
I borrowed 15000 Rs from my friend. After some time he told me that he is in need please return 15000 Rs. At that time I gave him a cheque . But cheque bounced in the bank due to insufficient fund. After it I gave him 15000 Rs. In cash but didn’t collected the bounced cheque in good faith. Due so some misunderstanding friendship is broken and he issued me a notice through advocate and calming 50,000 Rs. In that notice he mentioned that I have given a cheque of 15000 Rs as a part payment is bounced. What should I do? Please suggest.

Deny the contents of notice.Assert the cash payment of cheque, remind he pleaded cheque misplaced when asked to return the same, see a nearby lawyer to reply his notice.
