as per amendment to cooperative socieites act all elections will now be held by state govt . you have to intimate six months in advance of expiry of term of MC

With reference to the above clarifications I received, I now have a DNA Report dated "04NOV13 on page 4" which says that Housing Societies with less than 100 members are exepmted from this procedure. Can the Society elect the MC Members
as per old procedure. Grateful,please clarify.

no you cannot elect as per old procedure . you have to intimate expiry of term of managing committee in advance .
if your society has less than 100 members during election process held by society representative of registrar has to remain present .
