Suicide attempts

A lady 10 years attempted suicide by comsuming a little liquid toilet cleaner & discharged after treament, based on some petty issues with her husband. Subsequently same lady put 498a in later years compromised.When a meeting was conducted amongst family members on post 498a again she consumed few sleeping pills. Police came to hospital and warned the husband , but left without any case as the PS recorded that patient is vitally stable & discharged on same day.
Now again she says she needs to revive her marriage by buying gold immediately, as she pledged/sold her husband bought gold during 498a times.Failing which she would commit suicide. Upon callin her parents her mother says she is talking rubbish, hope she would NOT commit suicide again.
Even if husband buys some basic needed gold ornaments through loan or on credit,no surety that she would preserve & use for the family functions/occasions since she was in the habbit of selling/pledging in the past..
Under this marital disaccording situation/s what is to be done by her husband???

The husband has all the misfortunes in his life-partner, as it appears.
His only option is to medically treat his wife. if she is cured then only he may get respite else may God be with him.

Take your in laws in confidence and get her treated, preserving all medical treatment record.
