Dear experts
I have filed rcr and served the summons by hand through bailiff of her state.
The reports were send directly by her state court to my state court.
on first hearing report were not received so next date was given.
now her father is claiming that he has taken the notice from the bailiff but not the summons and continuously forcing us to divorce her paying alimony or he will transfer my case to his state.
can he do so? if yes how much it may cost him so that i can know his financial stability to act upon accordingly.

When the matter is still in Family Court Level Your Fil had stated to shift the case to his state and not supreme court.Regarding the Fees it depends on Advocate. Also the financial status will not be judged by court expenses

Moving to supreme Court for interstate transfer of divorce case would be a costly affair. Depends on the lawyer they entrust.

I agree Mr. N J S Rajkumar but transferring a case can be done only through high court or supreme court please correct me if i am wrong.
Actually FIL do not have that potential to spend that much and if he is doing so then he might be backed by person whom i am aware of.
And i might sideline him easily.
I am asking this because i dont want this case to be transferred so easily.
Please let me know the procedure for transferring of case so that i may plan that way.
Thanks alot all dear experts i am really obliged.

In almost all Divorce cases there is always a third person involvement is there to ruin the family.Have a good Senior Lawyer to contest your case and to speed up the case here it self by pleading with Registrar in writing and to sort out the issue of summons served
