Hello Sir,

I had ordered 5 cell phones for personal use from China. The company had send us the invoice for cell phones and told us to pay by T/T. They provided me with the bank account details. So i transferred the money to their bank account. After transferring the money when i asked about the phones they are not replying to my emails as well as the person with whom we discussed on skype is also not coming on skpye. The amount was 12000 INR. Can you please suggest a way out of this. I think i am scammed.

purchase order has been placed in china , funds transferred to china . if delivery of phones have not taken place you can issue legal notice to the supplier . but the problem if you take legal proceedings cost would be more than amount to be recovered

Better to write a letter if have email id , is any communication email or phone number then try to talk them if not then only way to send the legal notice .

This is cyber fraud.
You can lodge complaint with cyber police.
However since the offence is made from overseas I afraid your money is unlikely to be recovered.

Ordering 5 Mobile Phones is commercial+ Greed.
Cyber criminals operates from remote foreign place in a boat, c internet, changes bank a/c every day.
Our Police says " We don't know ABC of Computer and untrained
Cyber Cell, Bandra says" We are too busy, and take matter above 2 Lakh only.
So remote chance to get justice. [Only u will waste time & money. ]

There are public lost 10L and above...and failed to get anything, unless India based.

If you want to take legal action against the foreign supplier it would cost more than the money involved, better forget and avoid such step in future.
