Io asking to submit salary slips, bills etc.

False dowry case on me. FIR done 1 month ago. AB obtained. Currently case is at charge sheet level. Wife has also filed DV recently.
Investigating officer has been asking me to submit my salary slips, bills of articles i have on my name, bank statement details etc. He says if i submit these it will help him in investigation and as evidence against wife's claim/allegations.
My Question :
1. Is police investigation done by IO is usually fair ? I doubt my IO.
2. Should i give him all these documents to support my case at charge sheet level ?
3. Can i refuse him and tell him that i will submit all these in court later when the court case on.

1. The IO has some devious plan. Do not fall in his trap. Your salary slip and bills of articles has nothing to do with the investigation of 498a CASE. He is acting as per instructions of wife. This is for sure.

agree with expert, if you submit the salary slip or other documents, these documents will be beneficial for her in maintenance case.

I agree with the proper advise given by the experts on this issue. The IO has got no authority to demand your personal details which is totally irrelevant to the case in his hand. As decided by you, the IO may be informed properly that you will submit the said details/documents before the court as and when there arises a necessity. Do not get trapped by the dubious attitude of the IO. These people will never change or amend themselves even if they are given heavy salary, even then they will fall prey for bribe and corruptions. Bette act wisely while dealing with the IO once again.

if the IO has bonafide purpose he can get these details by filing written requisition to your employer banker etc.
