Share in grandfather's property

(Querist) 29 May 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi,
I am Sangam. I want to ask about my right in the self earned property of my grandfather. My Grandfather has two sons and one daughter(married). He has two grandchildren from his elder son and two from younger son. His younger son (my father) died of cancer this year. Now my grandfather and uncle are asking us to leave the house and the business (in which my father worked for years). They are not ready to give us anything. I am just 18 and my younger sister is just 15. We dont have anything. So I wanted to know (1)Do I have any legal right in my grandfather's property and what should be the proportion of my share? and (2)What should I do now?
I need help. Any assistance will be appretiated.
With Regards.

1) you have no share in your garnd father property . since it is self acquired property of your garnd father .

2) he can dispose the property as he so desires . only if your grand father died without a will would you inherit your father share in grand father property .

3) if you refuse to vacate grand father can file suit for eviction .

4) plead with your grand father that you dont have any alternative accommodation and to permit you and your sister to stay in said property

As per legal , nothing will be favor your side. So only the way to convince your grand father by amicable manner.

As per as your query no legal remedy is in favour of you. So persuade your grandfather to permit you to live in this house. Try to settle amicably.

Try to settle matter amicably. Take the help of nears and dears, family friends, relatives, socially effective people. Legally you have very weak claim.
