Hi,
I will be getting married soon in Mumbai. I have being searching for a solution, hope I get it from here.
I want to know how many days is required to get a marriage certificate asap. I mean I want it within 1-2 days, is it possible ?

Cert will now get from BMC office. Should get in 15 says. For Regd marriage immediately.

Depends what kind of marriage is being registered. If a already solemnized Hindu Marriage is registered, you can get the certificate same evening. However, if you want to get married at Registrar court, it would take 30 days.
(I have got my certificate same evening; of already solemnized marriage in Delhi and so has my other family members.)

What is solemnised marriage and court marriage give u marriage certificate the very evening rite

If a Hindu Marriage , you can get the certificate same evening.

If your marriage has already been preformed(Solemnized) you can get the marriage certificate within a day of registering it, or if you want to register the marriage that has not taken place, you may have to follow the procedures meant for it, the details of which you can have it from the notice board hanging outside the marriage registrar office.
