Bail cancellation for non attendance for few days

Can bail be cancelled for non attendance for few days? Facts: No permission taken from police. However the accused again re-started attending the police station. He has produced some medical papers for non attendance.

Whether the accused is on police or court bail?
On productuion of medical documents for the period of absence, generally no further action is taken on re-start of attending proceedings.
