Rental agreement

The house was given rent during September.If we want to execute the rental agreement during December using December stamp paper is whether correct.
We are not going to register the stamp paper.

You can get the agreement executed in Dec. purchasing non-judicial stamp paper .You can also state in the body of the agreement that the property was taken on rent on verbal consent of the landlord from Sept., 2014 and agreement shall remain valid for the balance term.

As regards Registration of Rent Agmt., Your State law shall prevail.

Rental agreement can be made on a retrospective effect too. As far as the registration is concerned, the local law applies, check it up with the your state laws.
