Original cheque is misplaced

I was filing a case under Order 37 Rule 2-Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, for non payment of dues by my party and dishonored cheque. I have mis placed the original chq. what can I do for here. please tell me the alternative.

You can file money suit for recovery on the basis of liability.

If the cheque was presented through cheque truncation scheme, get the certificated copy of the cheque from your Bank with duplicate cheque return memo / may call them for evidence.
