can we sell land only on basisof death will created

My Grandfather was owner of land which on his name till date.not trasfer to anyone.but in his will he has mention to give that land to all members of family.his own legal hairs and his brothers family..
Can this possible to sell land only on basis of will..or need to first transfer property on people mention in will?

The authority under whose jurisdiction the property falls shall provide the forms/formats,procedure to transfer the land to beneficiaries as per WILL.

Complete the process.


Thereafter each one shall become owner and can sell.

Normally property need to be transferred as per will and then any sale should take place.
