Address problem while applying for new passport for my wife

I have got married in dec 2015.I have to apply for the passport of my wife. We have got our marriage certificate also. Now my question is that while applying for the passport in the passport office,they are asking for the address proof and identity proof.
I have following questions..
- we don't want to change her surname, as all her documents are having her old name.. So that should not be an issue.
- As her address in all her documents is of her father's, so can she apply the passport by her new address(husband), which is not updated in her adhar card or voter ID card.
- is it better to apply for passport by her father address( as her adhar card and voter ID card have same address).
- or Where and how can we apply for her new adhar card with updated address and how long does it takes to change the address, as we have to apply for passport on urgent basis...

If you have the marriage registered and possess necessary Marriage Certificate, then the same along with your own address proof can be used to apply for Passport at the same address and old surname.

Should give parents address of wife and present address as matrimonial house, marriage certificate as proof.

There is no law that a woman, after marriage, need to adopt the husband's surname.
