pension to second wife.

Sir
Two wives of a govt employee.employee passed away last year and both wives have a son each and all even the second wife and her son is also mentioned as legal heirs first wife says her son wants job and she will give total pension to second wife is it possible that second wife gets pension if first wife has no objection.

Compassionate appointment for the dependent of the deceased employee and family pension for the spouse are two different concepts. The latter is a right while the former is only welfare measure.

Who is receiving the family pension at present?

Sir,
Till now as the matter got not settled we didn't even send the pension proposals still we are in a dilama that wether the second wife will get the full pension if first wife has no objection and my father was a state govt employee.
