Marking of documents

Whether non produced documents can be marked by showing it to the witness in the box if he admits it exxistence ?

Mere exhibition of Documents before the witness is not the end.The documents in question has to be retrieve from the witness and placed before the Judge and if the judge is satisfied with the execution of the documents it will be marked by the judge as asexhibit No...etc and signed by the judge, which will go down on records as evidence.
