I had ordered a book through online shopping. The order is confirmed. They given me estimated delivery date. But before a 3-4 days they cancelled order without giving any reason. Then I called the concern online selling website. I called then and requested to deliver the same order again but they said that we don't have the stock of such book. When I see their terms and condition I found that they are having discretionary power to cancel order at any stage. Can I file a case in consumer court. Which questions will raise.

Have you suffered any financial loss?

They have not written the reason but have conveyed it during your phone call.
They could have communicated the reason in writing.
That is it and all.

Mr. Bhagwan, when there is no monitory loss, do not take any pain by filing case in the court. sometimes it happens with online shoppy. There are so many heart burning problems before the courts, usually courts would not give much importance with this type of cases when there is no financial or mental sufferance, so take it easy and do not waste your precious time.
If you want to fight, you can do it against the social evils around us, so fight for right cause.
Just write a formal complaint against the company and wait for their action/reaction.
