Affidavit for change of name in educational certificates

I have changed my name as per Maharashtra Gazette and have updated it in my IDs like PAN card and AADHAR card. As for my educational certificates like 10th, 12th, and graduation I have an affidavit for proof of my name change. I am now moving to Bangalore for further studies.I have certain queries.
1. I would like to know if the affidavit that has been made in Mumbai would work as relevant proof as name change in other states as well?
2. Also, will Gazette of Maharashtra work in other states as proof of name change?

Educational institutes take the exact spelling of your name as imprinted in the 10th certificate. Get your name changed in that certificate. You wont need any further affidavit in other states.

Approach your local board office issued the certificate.

Affidavit / gazette publication done in Mumbai are valid in Banglore.
Contact the respective Board / University to know the procedure for rectification in the certificates.

The change of name published in the gazette of maharashtra government will be valid throughout.
You cannot change the name in the school certificate now.
The gazette and the affidavit shall be sufficient you don't need to change the name in the school certificate.
