Police not arresting accussed under IPC 332 and 353

(Querist) 13 September 2016 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,
I work at Bank of Baroda,a Public Sector Bank and was doing recovery in NPA accounts. One of the defaulter's father started abusing and when asked not to do so started beating me with iron rod, stick, and even threw cycle on me. This happened around 12 days back on 01/09/2016, Still the accussed are roaming free. The SO of the Police Station is protecting them. IPC 332 and 353 have been levelled against them on 03/09/2016, yet they have not been arrested till now.
Please suggest how to tackle this situation when police itself is protecting the culprit. Also, please suggest what action can be taken against the SO.

Thanks & Regards,

Suneel Pandey

Meet the IO to know the status of investigation, If he is non committal then meet the higher officials.
If even that does not yield any result then file writ petition against police inaction.

Even my own cousin brother and his team, went for recovery drive in the village and faced the same situations, but thank God, he came back alive.

Such incidents are increasing day by day. Goonda elements under the protection and patronage of local police, indulge in such unlawful activities and physically assault the public servant performing his lawful duty.

The attitude of the police can be mended only by courts so better to take this issue to high court.
