Somebody files case against me u/s420,120b,467 etc, through 156(3).now he is saying that i did it under influence of others so pls dont worry , ill take back my fir.my queation1. Can he take back his FIR ? Till now i didnt give my stAtement to police. 2. If not then how can we close this mAtter. 3. Do i have to give statement at police in any case?

Let the Police investigate. If the charges are baseless the Police will file a closure report. At this stage,it would be counterproductive to pursue the matter with the Police or Court.

K singh unless police make it clear in their investigation report till then nothing can be predicted.

Mr. K.Singh,

Forget it. Nothing is in his hands or your hands. Give statement to the police, contest the case, wait for the orders of the magistrate on trial after police report.

However, for your acacdemic query, which I am of the view, you better concentrate on your study material. Spoon fed answers may not help you acquire proper knowlege for becoming a good lawyer.

You can approach high court seeking quashing of FIR on the bases of compromise.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 20 September 2016
You need not trust his verbal statements.

Get cleared, acquitted of the charges.

Yes,let the police investigate the matter.if police finds false and baseless allegations then police will file F.R ,else you have to contest the case.
