Hello,
I am owning a flat and rented out the same to one of the family in Mumbai. The tenant wants to apply for the passport by declaring my flat address. Earlier I denied him to do so but he has requested to allow him, he said that he is ready to prepare affidavit and put legal terms in the same.
I am not sure if I should allow him and help to get passport on basis of my flat address..
Please suggest on this matter

U can do registered rent agreement with tenant for 11 month.
This license is used by tenant for his TEMPORARY address to get pass port.
In addition to this u need to take AFFIDAVIT from him regarding SURETY & INDEMNITY BOND for any future losses caused by him.
Will u give THANKS on my LCI profile for this free advice?

If he has rent agreement, he can apply.

No such affidavit is required if he is having rent agreement.
If he is giving it is his courtesy.
