dear sir please share your about a case
a NGO had issue a cheque to a individual for supplying, furniture . but the person had not supplying furniture and . after presenting the cheque in bank place a case 138 ni act on the secretary saying that he had gave a lone to him . and asking the amount .

If NGO has copy of order placed, receipt of cheque given as advance payment, proof of non supply of material then it may surely defend the case
