Un-reliable statement of complainant

If the complainant is proved to be making contradictory statement will it vitiate the prosecution.

If a witness leads evidence with contradicting statements, his evidence is not worth taking note of and becomes bad in the eyes of law. Definitely, it would vitiate the prosecution.

1.COMPLAINENT IS EXAMINED IN CHIEF BY HIS ADVOCATE IN CASE COMPLAINT IS FILED AT COURT OR ADVOCATE FOR THE STATE IN CASE COMPLAINT IS FILED AT POLICE STATION.
2.COMPLAINENT IS CROSS EXAMINED BY THE ADVOCATE FOR ACCUSED.
IN CASE COMPLAINENT IS MAKING ANY STATEMENT WHICH IS CONTRADICTORY TO HIS STATEMENTS IN COMPLAINT AND IN EXAM IN CHIEF THEN IT WILL HAVE ADVERSE EFFECT ON THE COMPLAINT AND ACCUSED CAN GET CHANCE AND CREATE DOUBT AND BENEFIT OF DOUBT WILL BE GIVEN TO ACCUSED AND HE WILL BE ACQUITED PLEASE NOTE.
