You can certainly apply.
There is NO bar on it.
Don’t conceal anything in any job application, document provided by anyone, affidavit to be signed….
Kumar Doab (Expert) 22 December 2017
Utilize the time to get cleared/ acquitted, in the matter.
Take help of a very able senior LOCAL counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in Family/criminal matters having successful track record to opine and help on the matter.

There is no harm for applying and appearing for entrance test in any government job. You are free person to do so as no court has held you guilty of any criminal offence till date. Even if the criminal proceedings initiate against you in court you are innocent till found guilty. Usually the wife make complaint against the whole family of her husband and the Police usually in most cases charge sheet husband and close relatives like his parents against whom any evidence exists. At the Charge stage, the Judicial Magistrate frame charges against the husband in most cases and discharge rest of the relatives unless there is sufficient evidence of their involvement in the offences charged for by the wife. All in all the chances of the success in such criminal complaints is very low for conviction as most cases ultimately get compromised or the accused get acquitted.

You can certainly apply. What is the present stage in the matter? Have you received summons from the Court?
Kumar Doab (Expert) 23 December 2017
The matter against you has been initiated with complaint.
Take help as already suggested and get cleared in fair inquiry.
Obtain certified copies of all relevant docs thru RTI and keep these safely.
Subsequently get acquitted preferably from court. Your LOCAL counsel can help.

The recruiter may have IT’s own view in the matter.
If you have not concealed anything in any document that you are to sign and submit, then you have merits on these counts on your side. The chances of getting relief from court of law (if the need be) may be better.
If you conceal then you would be making your job and your lawyer’s job difficult in matter of your employment.
I shall try and send you some links that you may go thru and pick up relevant points.

We all got bail in july 2107 and then surrendered to the court so as to start trial which willstart in 26 dec2017.There is no chance of compromise as she wants to stay with my brother and quash the case but my brother not willing to live with her because she betrayed us and registered fake cases so he wont want to take risk agian.
Dear sir could you tell me for how long this case will come to an end and if not end can i be appointed to serve as a govt employee??

SO basically your brother's adamant view is spoiling your career.

She is willing to live with him and him only that means that she has grudge (right/wrong) against the family.

SO your brother can unite and close the matter against you all.

He should carry on to be adamant if he has enough money to feed you without a job for entire family.

Mr Mahajan has expressed that one is presumed innosent tillrpoved guilty.

I wish if it could really happen in service matters. On the contrary 180 dgree reverse happens. One has to be presumed guilty till proved innosent by court (sometimes even thereafter).

BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR.
KEEP NO MISUNDERSTANDING

YOU WILL NEVER BE ISSUED ANY OFFER OF APPOINTMENT BY ANY DEPTT FOR ANY POST (even if on top of select list) TILL YOU ARE ACQUITTED HONOURABLY OR THE COMPLAINANT AGREES TO DROP COMPLAINT BEFORE CHARGE SHEET.

There is no provision to keep offer open.

If you are really interest to join govt deptt then you hve to beg for her mercy or keep expecting trial to be over before you are overage.

You have adequately been advised by experts, I agree, nothing more to add.
