Time limit for ao to pass order u/s. 154

What is the time limit for the AO to pass a Rectification Order U/s. 154 in cases where intimation U/s. 143(1) is not issued/received by the assessee nor deeming provisions applicable in cases of claims of refund/demand. Is alternative remidy available U/s. 119(2)(b).

Which Act is being referred?
Presumably it is Income Tax Act, 1961, isn't it? If so, consult your CA.
