claim of tenancy after 50/60 years

prior to 1947, brothers A n B were tenants of a commercial property
rent receipt in d name of A
after 1947, A migrated to Pakistan
in 1952 C joined as a partner with B
in 1969 B died
C continued to do business as a proprietor
in d year 2000 C's son D joined the business in partnership with C
( rent receipt still in the name of A )
C dies in d year 2010
in 2017 D transfers d rent receipt in his name
d important query is - can A's heirs ( grandchildren or great grandchildren who have settles in India ) CLAIM TENANCY RIGHTS ??
