Dear sir/mam Myself Prasanta karmakar .I am tenant of Mr. Narayan debnath last 50 year without any agreement. Premises no is 21/H/27 canal east road kolkata 700067(Assessee no.120140400488).Kolkata municipal corporation says let misses Paribala dasi is recorded owner of this Premises no. we don’t know Mr. Narayan debnath but Mr.Narayan debnath collect rent last 50 year and he says I am owner of this land.Mr.Narayan debnath want to build a building on this land and he says you(Prasanta karmakar) live this land. What are i doing right now please advice me.

Since you have the rent receipts of the person who had superior title in the property and the there was confusion as regards the ownership pf property, you could file a suit for declaration of tenancy and injunction.
Do not worry, the rent act in Bengal i.e. West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act is quite stringent against the landlord.

yes, above expert is right but you should confirm that is there any relationship between first or second owner or the first owner may sold that land to him.
