What is the Initial stamp duty charges to initiate complaint U/s 138 NI Act and

What is stamp duty charges for Civil Proceedings in order to recover intrest & Incidental charges.

Please Specify the Slab rates

NO stamp duty charges for Section 138 NI Act

Stamp duty of Rs. 10/- only is required to be affixed one time in case of filing complaint under section 138 NI Act whereas in recovery suit, the stamp duty is different from State to State. If you tel me the State wherein the recovery suit is to be filed and the amount of recovery then I can tel you exact amount of stamp duty required to be affixed on the memo of plaint.

Whats your case amount sir? For initiate a complaint under section 138 of n.i act, In tamilnadu 50 rupees to be paid per 1 lakh. If amount below 50k mean 25 rupees enough.
