in 1971 lt.col.gian g.rochlani sold the allotment land to four rao brothers, then the four rao brothers sold land to my father then my father gave me the property and i gifted this property to my sons. now when we r selling this land they want the allotment letter of mr g.rochlani.where can i get that from now. the issuing office were (Government of India, ministry of works,housing and supply(department of rehabilitation),office of regional settlement commissioner,bombay-1) and the land is in hyderabad? where can i get the letter from now please help?

It is very old case of about 40 years. Copy from that department can be asked under RTI, if the type of record is treated as permanent by the concerned department and is available on record as per the rules of preservation of records for that department.

Submit indemnity bond for the same,if you are in the possession of the property and Revenue Records in your favour.

Further inquire that the property was issued to the specific class of people and the Govt./Collector do not have the right to New Tenure.
Otherwisae you will be in dilemma.
