Dear All
ONE BANK OFFICER RESIGNED FROM SERVICES. HE WAS SERVED A CHARGE SHEET AFTER15 days of resignation.after conducting a sham inquiry resignation was rejected in writing giving reference of disciplinary proceeding.he was compulsorily retired after inquiry After review officer got reinstment orders but side by side was relived from services stating your resignation has been accepted. please accept that once a resignation rejected so how can one be relieved on that resignation. Can a rejected resignation be acted upon. In view after 3 months any resignation notices ends itself and in this case it was rejected in writing ,so pl guide with yr valuable advice.

The Bank cannot act in a whimsical manner. The bank cannot also at its sweet will both approbate and reprobate simultaneously. Once the resignation request stands rejected, unless the officer tenders resignation afresh, the bank cannot act on the basis of the earlier resignation letter. You have a very good case to argue. Better approach the Court without losing any time.

i agree with Mr ramchandran . once bank has rejected your resignation letter the bank cannot accpe it later

Once the resignation is rejected in writing, the same can not be taken on file.

Yeah! Experts are right. It is high handedness on the part of Bank. If one has choice of one between two,and chooses one then how can it BACK from.

since resignation has been rejected in writing,your service cannot be terminated based on that unless you submit a fresh one.
Please do follow the advise of Mr.Ramachandran.
