Dear Sir,
I am having commercial place in Mumbai which I have rented to a hotelier for 3 years on leave and license basis. This agreement has been registered to authorities and all statutory dues have been paid. Now this hotelier wants NOC from me for taking VAT number from sales tax authorities. My question is 1) What should be the format of this NOC? Should it be unconditional or conditional.
2) To protect my property from encumbrance of any kind what conditions should be put?
3) Can the NOC be registered with any kind of court?

your NOC should mention that premises have ben given on leave and licence basis to hotelier for 3years and that said agreement is duly registered .
that you have no objection if vat number is obtained from service tax authorities .
no registartion is necessary . but do inform your society that you have given NOC
