Caste confusion

sir, i am a central govt employee working as PA in department of Posts, India. I am in very confusion on my future. Please show me the way for bright future. My mother is from S.T caste, My Father from O.C caste. We are three children. I got this job under ST category, We have been living in My mother's native place from 1996. while in my job training, i fell in love with a Muslim girl, She is physically handicapped, she could not walk without any support. I want to marry her and want to apply transfer to her area through rule 38[inter circle transfer]. could you please tell me if any problem to my job if i do so as said above. if any problem is there please suggest a solution thanking you, sir

Dear Mr. Naik,
Your proposed marriage will not in any way affect your employment. However, when you get transfer under Rule 38, then your seniority will get affected and you will rank junior to all those who are already in regular employment in the Circle/Division to which you get transferred. This will definitely come in the way of your future promotion, unless you pass some Departmental Examination like Junior Accounts Officer, or IPO etc.
