Hello ! My father in law & mother in law met with an accident on Dt. 5/11/11 at Ahmedabad. They are residing at Vadodara. My father in law driven a Scooty & two unknown persons driven a Karizma bike make a "TAKKAR" in back side of Scooty. I have file a FIR for the same and bike no. is also mentioned in FIR. Right hand was fractured of my father in law & brain hemmarage of my mother in law was done. Total 100000/- eapense was incurred for medical treatment. I want to file a suit against unknown persons. In which section & Act i file a suit ? What is the time limit for file a suit? Can I file a suit at Vadodara? Pls. suggest me.

best way you engage a lawyer, he will guide you, the case file as per MCOP act. it will take time for completed to get award.

Then you can easily trace at least the owner
whose vehicle caused the accident.
