Can a wife claim in property of husband after divorce decree is passed?

No after the decree of divorce the wife looses all her right of inheritance or other rights on the property of her husband.
Her only relief lies in her right for maintenance through which she may create Charge on his property under Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act but no suo motu right of share in the property of her husband.

EVEN WHERE NO DIVORCE HAS TAKEN PLACE A WIFE HAS NO CLAIM IN HUSBAND'S OWNERSHIP UNLESS HE DIES INTESTATE.
