Rectification in index ii

i have registered a property i.e plot in 2007 in my name but now after 5 years while selling it has been brought to my notice that there is some error in description of property as mentioned in the index ii .May be the agent who filled up the information form might have commited error. I had visited the office where this registration took place but the sub-registrar sitting there is not ready to accept my letter for rectification saying that it was done by his pre-decessor . What is the procedure to get the index ii rectified ? Who are the concerned officers who will rectify the same? Whether there is any limitation period for the said rectification?

i have purchased two flats which are jodi flats in a bldg. in kandivali. I want to remove the wall between the two flats and make living room bigger .No other changes .The wall is brick wall only not RCC. the builder has not received occupation certificate yet. I have not taken possession of the flats . When i start interior, whether i can remove the brick wall ? what procedure i need to adopt to do the same?.

Once occupation certificate is received, yo can change it as you wishe.

This query has two parts. I am unable to understand exactly what you want in first part.
On second part though after you get possession of both the flats, you can make changes.
